Sundstrom, Hugo R. age 74, of Dellwood, died Saturday, August 19, 2006
at his home. Born March 24, 1932 in Webb, Saskatch- ewan, Canada. He
was the son of the late Carl H. and Thekla Edwall Sundstrom. Hugo came
to Eden, SD along with his family in 1937. He grew up in that community,
attended school and took over the family farm, which he occupied until
2000. Moving to Dellwood at that time, he made his home with his cousin
Jacqueline Pihl, who survives him. Hugo served the Army during the
Korean Conflict, attaining the rank of Corporal. Also surviving are his
brother, Arby (Jean) of Belle Plaine; sister, Edna Gronau of Tujunga,
CA, and many nieces and nephews. Alex and Andrew Wollack of Clarksville,
MD survive as "special grandsons." Hugo was preceded in death by a
sister, Evangeline Evjen. Funeral services Friday 1:00 PM at Centennial
United Methodist Church, 1542 W. County Rd. C-2, Roseville, MN.
Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment
Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Children's Hospital
Association or the Buffalo Lake Lutheran Church, Eden, SD. Arr.
