Wonderful site! (I have not been on in a while). I do have a little information on Sivert Quaal...he was born in Aug, 1883 and died in 1949. His wife was Alma Mary Erickson, born 1885 and died in 1957. Sivert's parents were Peder Andersen Quaal b. 17 April 1844 in Orkdal, and died 25 Aug, 1929 in MN....and Anne Olsdatter Bye b. 13 Jan. 1849 in Orkdal, and died 15 Sept. 1945 in MN. Sivert was the brother of my great-grandfather. I also have information on the descendents of Sivert and Mary, if you are interested.
