Mary Jane L. Pudwill

October 1, 1929 – March 17, 2013

Mary was the first of 11 children born to Alva and Lydia Bain in Aberdeen, South Dakota. After graduating from High School, she worked in Aberdeen at the National Tea Grocery Store, in the Bakery, where she met DeWayne Pudwill who worked as a Butcher in the meat market. The two were married June 8, 1951 and throughout the years, they were blessed with 5 children (Douglas, Paula, Dennis, Deborah, and Wendy). Later, God blessed them, once again, with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

They moved to Kennewick, Washington in 1955 where they resided until July of 1969, when DeWayne’s job brought them to Bellevue, Washington. She has lived in the same residence for 44 years.

During her lifetime, she worked faithfully in the LWML and Children’s ministries in the churches she attended. She sewed baptismal gowns for babies in Mexico, made baptismal cloths, and was selfless in her gift of giving wherever needed to the Lord’s glory. She truly was a blessing to all whom she touched in her many years of service. “Always Loving – Forever Loved!”
