Hi Dan:
August of '95, we traveled by car with daughter Dawn and her family through Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Visited Trondheim. Stayed in a cabin just off the ocean. Walked the streets, Watched as they repaired the cobblestone streets and buildings. They repair and maintain their old, old buildings. The city was preparing for their 1000th year anniversary that will be celebrated this year. We bought lefse at a farmers market, but we liked mom's better. The city is built on hills with water coming in and around so not an easy city to drive in as streets are not very straight.
In Oslo we checked phone books. Found the Osterkil name but not Evjen.
