SEASONS GREETINGS

Some of the highlights for us in the year 2000 were:

In June we took a bus tour through Canada with Rustad Tours of Kerkoven, MN. There were 30 in our group. We were the only ones from South Dakota. All the others were from Minnesota. We enjoyed the trip and made many new friends. We had never seen much of Canada, let alone know a lot about the history of the country.

We visited many of the large eastern cities, the Niagara Falls, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. While on Prince Edward Island we were met by a couple that had been in Wilmot about five years ago. One evening they picked us up, showed us some interesting place and visited their home. We were the first people from SD who had every visited their home. While with the tour group we visited many interesting sites, watched lobster fishermen unload there catches and enjoyed a lobster meal. We spent part of one day at the Anne Green Gables museum. Another interesting place was the Alexander Graham Bell museum. Each province we visited were very unique.

Daniel and Jessica, Dawn and Mike's children, came to South Dakota for a visit in August before their school started. It was a real treat to have them here. Dawn and Mike came to get them and while they were here, just about everyone of the family were able to be here for the Labor Day weekend. This was the first time in several years Dawn, Darwin, Davonne and Deb were together at the same time.

Rose Ann made two trips to Yakima, WA this fall to be with her sister Norma. Norma has had to make several major adjustments this past year.

We keep busy with activities in the church and communities. A little woodworking and sewing, etc.

May you have a Joyous Christmas
and a Prosperous New Year
